There are several other antidepressants available, including:

Bupropion (Aplenzin™, Budeprion XL^®, Budeprion™ SR, Buproban^®, Forfivo™ XL, Wellbutrin SR^®, Wellbutrin XL^®, Wellbutrin^®, Zyban^®), a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI)
Mirtazapine (Remeron^®)
Nefazodone (Serzone^®)
Trazodone (Desyrel^®) or trazodone ER (Oleptro™)

Vilazodone (Viibryd™).

Sometimes, stimulant medications such as methylphenidate (Ritalin^®) are used for the short-term treatment of depression when other medications have not helped (although stimulants are not approved for this use).
