Who Should Not Take Asendin?

You should not take Asendin if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Asendin, amoxapine, or any inactive component used to make the medicine. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have recently had a heart attack (known medically as a myocardial infarction).
     
  • Have used a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) within the last 14 days. MAOIs include:
