Celexa Drug Interactions

When aspirin, alcohol, or triptans are taken together with Celexa, interactions may occur. When an interaction occurs, the drug levels in your blood can increase significantly and side effects, such as stomach bleeding, fever, or diarrhea, may occur. The effectiveness of the medicines may also be decreased. Other medications that can lead to Celexa drug interactions include warfarin, metoprolol, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and cimetidine.
