Celexa® is a prescription medication that is used for the treatment of depression in adults. By balancing the levels of serotonin in the brain, the antidepressant can improve the symptoms of depression and reduce the chances of a relapse. Potential side effects of the medicine may include insomnia, drowsiness, and sweating. Celexa, which comes in liquid and tablet form and is available in several different strengths, is generally taken once a day.
