Not everyone who takes this drug will experience problems, and those who do often find they are easily resolved. However, potentially serious side effects of Zoloft have been reported. These include:
- Serotonin syndrome
- Signs of an allergic reaction
- Chest palpitations
- Suicidal thoughts or behavior.
