Rare Side Effects
Rare side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people taking Remeron. Because these side effects are so uncommon, it is difficult to tell whether they are because of the medication or something else.
Some of these rare side effects seen with Remeron include but are not limited to:
- Sensitivity to the sun
- Migraine headaches
- Canker sores
- Hypothyroidism (low thyroid)
- Weight loss
- Urinary tract infections (bladder infections)
- Hair loss
- Sexual side effects, such as changes in sex drive, impotence (erectile dysfunction or ED), or ejaculation problems (see Remeron Sexual Side Effects).
