It is important to know that while you are on Sinequan, drug interactions may occur if you take it with alcohol, cimetidine, or other tricyclic antidepressants. These drug interactions can cause serious side effects, such as suicidal thoughts, low blood sugar, or dangerous irregular heart rhythms. Other medications that may potentially lead to Sinequan interactions include monoamine oxidase inhibitors, SSRI antidepressants, arrhythmia medications, and tolazamide.
