Currently, generic Wellbutrin is sold in two strengths -- 75 mg and 100 mg tablets. The FDA has assigned generic versions of Wellbutrin an "AB" rating, meaning they should be equivalent to the brand-name medication. However, generic medications are allowed to have different inactive ingredients than their brand-name versions. These inactive ingredients, which may include fillers or dyes, can cause problems for people with allergies or sensitivities.
