Nardil® (phenelzine sulfate) is approved to treat depression by increasing the levels of certain brain chemicals (monoamines). Most people tolerate the drug well. However, side effects are possible and may include constipation, fatigue, and dizziness. This prescription medication comes in tablet form and is typically taken three times a day. There are currently no generic versions of Nardil available.
