Drug Interactions With Nefazodone

Drug interactions with nefazodone may occur if the antidepressant is taken together with alcohol, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), carbamazepine, or statin cholesterol medications. These drug interactions can increase the medicine levels in your blood and increase your risk of developing serious side effects. To help prevent nefazodone drug interactions, make sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are taking any other medications.
