Precautions and Warnings With Nefazodone
There are many precautions and warnings with nefazodone, including important information on who should not take the drug. Before starting the antidepressant, let your healthcare provider know if you have bipolar disorder, liver problems, or any allergies. Possible side effects of the medication include low blood pressure, suicidal thoughts or behavior, seizures, and priapism. You should not take nefazodone if you are allergic to any components of the drug or are also taking cisapride, pimozide, triazolam, or carbamazepine.
