Nortryptyline

By affecting certain brain chemicals, nortriptyline hydrochloride (Pamelor®) can help treat symptoms of depression. However, the drug is not suitable for everyone. Before taking nortriptyline, talk to your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you have and any other medications you are taking, including vitamins and herbal supplements. Although most people tolerate nortriptyline well, possible side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth.
