What Is Oleptro Used For?
- Feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness
- Decreased interest in things that you used to enjoy
- Suicidal thoughts or behaviors
- Changes in sleep (sleeping too much or not enough)
- Changes in appetite (and weight gain or weight loss)
- Physical pain.
In clinical trials, Oleptro has been proven to help adults with depression. However, keep in mind that
antidepressants often take a few weeks (or even longer) to begin working.
Sometimes, other people (such as friends, relatives, or coworkers) will notice an improvement in your depression symptoms before you do. Often, improvements in your physical symptoms of depression (such as pain or changes in sleep) will be most noticeable at first, before you notice significant improvements in mood. It is important to give the medication a chance to work before becoming discouraged.
Counseling and therapy
(see Psychotherapy for Depression) are often used along with antidepressant medication to treat depression. Ask your healthcare provider if counseling or therapy would be good options for you
(see Depression Treatment).
