Pamelor Warnings and PrecautionsThere are several Pamelor warnings and precautions to be aware of, including an increased risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, the possibility of the drug causing problems in people with bipolar disorder, and the potential risks involved with taking the medication during pregnancy. Prior to taking Pamelor, you should tell your healthcare provider if you have seizures, glaucoma, or diabetes. You should not take Pamelor if you have had a heart attack or have taken an MAOI within the past two weeks.
