Paxil CR Dosage

For adults who are beginning depression treatment, dosing with Paxil CR usually starts at 25 mg once a day. People with panic disorder or social anxiety disorder generally start with a daily dosage of 12.5 mg. Women with premenstrual dysphoric disorder can take a daily dose of 12.5 mg for every day during the entire menstrual cycle or only during the last two weeks of their cycle. The maximum daily dosages of this drug are 62.5 mg for depression, 75 mg for panic disorder, and 37.5 mg for social anxiety disorder.

panic disorder, the recommended starting dosage of Paxil CR is 12.5 mg daily. Your healthcare provider may choose to increase the Paxil CR dosage if symptoms continue, or decrease the dose if side effects occur. The maximum recommended daily dose for panic disorder is Paxil CR 75 mg.
