Pristiq Drug Side Effects

Although most people tolerate 
 Pristiq® (desvenlafaxine succinate) without any problems, side effects are possible. In clinical studies that compared Pristiq to a placebo, some common side effects of the drug included:
 
 
Some side effects with Pristiq, while occurring infrequently, are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Suicidal thoughts or behavior
  • Restlessness or inability to sit still
  • Engaging in unusual or dangerous activities
