Dry mouth, an increased appetite, and drowsiness are common side effects that have been reported with Remeron® (mirtazapine). Side effects that are less common (occurring in less than 1 percent of people taking it) include migraine headaches, seizures, and sexual side effects. Although Remeron side effects are, in most cases, minor, you should seek medical attention immediately if you develop suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, or any signs of an allergic reaction.
