Although brand-name Sinequan is no longer being manufactured, it is still available as a generic. Sinequan is currently being sold as generic capsules (doxepin) and liquid (doxepin solution). Although the generic form of Sinequan is equivalent to the brand-name version, it may contain different inactive ingredients.
Sinequan® (doxepin hydrochloride) is a prescription medication that has been licensed as a depression treatment. It is part of a class of medicines known as tricyclic antidepressants.
