Trazodone? Trazadome is a common misspelling of trazodone.
Trazodone hydrochloride (Desyrel®) is a medication licensed to treat depression. The prescription medication is thought to work by balancing the levels of a certain brain chemical (serotonin). Trazodone comes in tablet form and is usually taken one to three times a day. In order for trazodone to work properly, you must take it as prescribed. The dosage of trazodone your healthcare provider prescribes will vary, depending on several factors, such as your age, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you may be taking.
