Were you looking for information about
Wellbutrin XL? Wellbutrin XR is a common misspelling of Wellbutrin XL.

Wellbutrin XL® (bupropion XL) is a prescription medication that is approved to treat depression and prevent seasonal affective disorder. The medication works by allowing certain chemicals (dopamine and norepinephrine) to stay in the brain for a longer period of time. Possible side effects of the medication include headaches, dry mouth, and weight loss. If the side effects become too bothersome, or if the medication does not work as well as intended, alternatives to Wellbutrin XL are available, including other depression medications and psychotherapy.

(Click Wellbutrin XL for more information on how the drug works, guidelines for when and how to take it, and potential overdose symptoms.)
