Welbutren

Were you looking for information about
Wellbutrin? Welbutren is a common misspelling of Wellbutrin.

Wellbutrin® (bupropion hydrochloride), an antidepressant that is available by prescription, is commonly used to treat depression. Part of a class of drugs known as norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitors (NDRIs), it works by blocking the reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine when the levels of these chemicals in the brain become unbalanced. Wellbutrin is not suitable for everyone. A few of the conditions you should let your healthcare provider know about before taking the medication include kidney problems, heart disease, and any allergies you may have.

(Click Wellbutrin for more detail on how Wellbutrin works to alleviate symptoms of depression, other existing medical conditions you should tell your healthcare provider about, and alternatives available for depression treatment.)
