Wellbutrin® (bupropion hydrochloride) is a medication licensed to treat depression. The prescription drug works by keeping certain chemicals in the brain balanced. Wellbutrin comes in a tablet form and is available in 75 mg and 100 mg tablets. The dosage of Wellbutrin your healthcare provider prescribes will vary depending on several factors, such as your age, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you may be taking. Among the conditions you should let your healthcare provider know about prior to taking Wellbutrin are epilepsy, an eating disorder, and liver problems.
